For students aged 7 to 13 approx
Non-residential two day course with instruction and guidance from experienced teachers and chamber musicians. No audition or prior experience of chamber music necessary. Following confirmation of a place on the course, each student is assigned two different chamber groups and will receive music to prepare in advance for each of these. In addition to coaching sessions with these two groups, there are also sessions with larger ensembles and opportunities for sight-reading together. The final chamber session is open to families to observe. On Saturday evening, students of the Junior course will be offered free entrance to a concert at Westgate Chapel, Lewes.
