To balance the high level of musical concentration there is also unstructured free time each afternoon. This is a good time for swimming, football, rounders, painting, walking… sometimes there are trips to local towns or areas of natural beauty. A highlight of the course for many is exploring the well-stocked library in ad hoc playing sessions, often late into the evenings.
