Meanwhile the great chamber music repertoire continues to be as fascinating as ever and even if we can’t play it at the moment there is much we can do to think about it and get to know it. All our students are very welcome to contact us with musical questions, thoughts or observations.

For students aged approx 14 – 17.
Residential 8 day course held at Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth. 28 places available for string players and pianists. Each student studies three works during the week with coaching from an team of international performing musicians with a particular specialism in chamber music. Courses include study of related subjects, such as 20th century music, composition and baroque music. Each participant plays in at least three concerts during the course.
Built in the 1930s and still retaining many of the original Art Deco design features, Talbot Heath is set in its own extensive forest campus in a quiet area of Bournemouth within walking distance of the beach. The music buildings include a beautiful chamber music hall.
Accommodation is in rooms shared between 3 or 4. Delicious and nutritious food is cooked by our own chefs and meals are eaten together round a long table in the dining room.
